BG have an OEM customer who can re-create the problem at will and has been working closely with them to resolve the issue. BG are confident they have finally tracked down the errant code. But nothing is ever guranteed.

Once they have tracked down the code and fixed it, the oem will be beta testing it. They want to make sure its goging to fix the issue before releasing it. You should ensure that there is no power to the motherboard for a few minutes when removing or adding the BG cards. They are active cards so draw power. If the power is not removed then windows doesnt realise there has been a change. That is why sometimes windows doesnt detect them. It still can be a problem though - I have one in the field that refuses to work. I've had it returned to me twice now the whole machine not just the card and its fine here.
